We are South Doyle's Team FTW, Winner of the Battle for the Bluegrass 2017 Robotics Competition at Lynn Camp High School in Corbin, Kentucky. Winners of The "Highest Rookie Seed" award and "Rookie All Star Award" at the 2017 Smokey Mountain Regional Tournament.

2017-2018

We are slowly but surely making our way to the top as we not only improve our stragies but also the amount of support we recieved is undescribable. This year, our true hard work and dedication have paid off, We came in 1st, Winner of the Battle for the BlueGrass 2017 Robotics Compeition at Lynn Camp High School.

2016-2017

The South-Doyle Robotics team competed at the Smoky Mountain Regional Tournament and won big! Our students earned the Rookie All-Star and Highest Seeded Rookie team award out of 48 schools competing. This earned us a qualifying spot at the World Championship in Houston, TX, and a chance to represent South-Doyle on the international stage.

Our students designed, engineered, programmed, and built a robot that could deftly compete with even veteran team. Our highest ranking in the tournament was 12th seed and we were in the running to be top 8 alliance captains. We had students running to help team on our alliance in their pit, rewriting code, fixing parts, and discussing strategy. Mentors and students combined have put in over 1500 hours of hard work, and exercised several brain cells this season too!

The glorious testing bot to test and implement necessary changes to alpha bot. This robot is being currently tested for the smokey mountain regional. It may not loog good now, but it will be better soon.

Despite all the stuggles this robot, with the help of our awesome driver and the support of our team, not only earned us a qualifying spot but also managed to get 1st at the Battle For The BlueGrass Robotics Competition at at Lynn Camp High School.
