STEM AT SCHOOL

Every 9 weeks, the robotics team has reached out to the local community and has invited STEM professionals to speak to our freshmen about careers in their STEM field. We have had 12 speakers this year, from biotech, mechanical, manufacturing, and cybersecurity speak to our students.

All Freshmen take a STEM I course that introduces them to the Engineering Design Process. Students complete four real-world projects that emphasize coding, CAD, gardening, and robotics.

The stem curriculum is developed by robotics mentors, and robotics students work with STEM classes on 3d printing and laser cutting each quarter.

This Arcade Cabinet was created by Robotics Students and will be distributed around the school for the other students to play when they make their games in the STEM I course.
