Our Mission
So-Kno Robo is committed to Inspiring and preparing the next generation of STEM leaders in South Knoxville by ensuring access to high-quality robotics programs for all public school students.
Through hands-on learning, mentorship, and community engagement, we empower students to excel in STEM fields and beyond.
Team/Outreach Growth
In the past 3 years, our team has grown from 4% to 44% female participation.
42% of girls on our team are in leadership roles.
This season, we welcomed 10 new members, a 67% increase from previous years.
In the past two years, we've provided rookie training and built a rookie-only bot, boosting leadership opportunities for upperclassmen to mentor and share their hands-on manufacturing and CAD skills.
This year, we’ve created two rookie-only teams, including one all-girls team, fostering a supportive and confidence-boosting environment for girls on our team.
Our team’s impact has never been greater. Over the past three years, we've connected with 2,100+ people in our community, including 900+ in 2024 alone.
